Who we are
AssembleX Industrial Services is an independent field engineering company run by one senior engineer, Piotr Jędrzejczyk. You work directly with the person who does the job. We install, commission and service industrial digital printing machines and production lines for machine builders (OEMs) and factories worldwide.
He has 18+ years in the field: mechanical and electrical installation, start-up, calibration, operator training and service after start-up. We work as a B2B contractor, short or long term, so an OEM can add experienced field capacity for one project or a peak season without hiring.
What we do
We take a machine from the crate to stable production, and stay for the service that follows.
- Installation and relocation of production lines: digital printers, plotters, packaging, sorting and palletising lines, special-purpose machines. Site survey of utilities, cable routes, transport paths and layout, with proposed corrections.
- Mechanical and electrical installation and connection to line systems and intralogistics.
- Commissioning and start-up: printhead setup, calibration, linearisation, colour and print-quality tuning, integration with the rest of the line (scanners, code printers, conveyors, ID/code synchronisation).
- FAT/SAT and production trials, safety validation, handover documentation in English or Polish.
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting on PLC/HMI-based machines, parameter stabilisation, scrap and downtime reduction, OEE improvement.
- Training and procedures: operator and maintenance training, SOP and preventive maintenance plans.
- Prototype support: field validation, data and log collection, recommendations on software, control logic and HMI for the production version.
- Service after start-up, on site or remote.
Industries and technologies
We have installed, commissioned and serviced industrial inkjet machines on ceramic, glass, PVC panels and metal, together with the vision, curing and ink systems around the printer.
| Area | Status | What we have done |
|---|---|---|
| Ceramic tile and slab decoration | Proven | Inkjet decorators integrated with glazing lines; linearisation and print-quality tuning on large-format slabs; digital deposition of structural effects (adhesive printed by heads, grit dosed digitally by piezo elements, excess vacuumed off, effect fixed in the kiln); through-body veining synchronised with the printed graphics by a vision scanner; vision-based graphic alignment, so tiles are printed at the correct angle without mechanical squaring |
| Glass | Proven | Commissioning, printhead calibration, repair and full service of a UV inkjet glass printer, including the UV curing stage; working knowledge of the glass printing process, not only of the machine |
| PVC panels | Proven | Start-up and service of UV inkjet machines for PVC panels (single-pass and flatbed), staff training, downstream lacquering and UV curing; working knowledge of substrate-specific effects such as electrostatic charge, which ceramics do not have |
| Metal (steel coil) | Proven | UV inkjet printing directly on coil, integrated with the coil processing line |
| Packaging, sorting, palletising, end-of-line | Proven | Installation, connection and start-up of sorting, palletising and logistics systems |
| Textile, labels, wood-based panels and decor | Open | Same inkjet field skills, new substrate; fast ramp-up after OEM product training |
Technology we work with
- Printheads: industrial piezo printheads from several manufacturers (including Fujifilm Dimatix and Xaar): setup, calibration, linearisation, diagnostics and replacement; ink circulation and degassing systems
- Inks: UV, water-based, solvent-based and ceramic
- Curing and drying: UV, LED, IR and hot air
- Software: RIP and ICC colour profiles
- Vision and identification: pre-print and post-print scanners, vision-based graphic alignment and slab scanning, barcode and QR code scanners that identify each tile or slab on the line for printing
- Controls and motion: PLC/HMI-based machines (including B&R), servo drives, industrial fieldbus, parameter setup and diagnostics
Selected projects
Eight projects, from multi-line start-ups to single machines. Client names are withheld; older projects are marked “Earlier”.
| Year | Country | Project | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | Turkey | Large-scale start-up at a ceramic tile factory. 7 inkjet decorators, 1 digital structural-effect (grit and adhesive) machine and 2 vision-based alignment systems commissioned and integrated with each other and with 8 glazing lines; linearisation repair and tuning for large-format slabs with marble and natural-stone graphics. | 8 integrated lines producing high-quality large-format slabs |
| 2025-26 | China | Digital UV printing on steel coil. Installation and commissioning of a digital printer printing CMYK directly on coil at 60 m/min with 1-pixel (64 µm) accuracy; integration with the coil processing line. | High-speed, high-precision printing line integrated into coil production |
| 2025 | Italy | New print modules in an existing line. Mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning; integration of barcode scanner and code printer; ID/code synchronisation; FAT/SAT, stabilisation, training. | Stand-alone machines became one synchronised production system |
| 2025 | UAE | Digital decoration deployment (prototype). Commissioning of print modules; head setup and calibration; integration with line systems; FAT/SAT and production trials; training; SOP/PM and documentation. | Prototype moved to serial production with standardised procedures |
| 2024 | USA | Print module with conveying. Mechanical and electrical installation, connection to intralogistics, safety validation, SAT/PQ, setup matrices and changeover procedures, SOP/PM, training, handover documentation. | Right-first-time start, stabilised process, better quality |
| 2021 | Poland | Production line for slabs with through-body veining. Installation and commissioning of the digital printer and of the vision scanner. The scanner reads each slab, detects the background body colour and the veins made of a different ceramic body, and outlines the vein borders. It passes this data to the printer, which prints the background with one graphic and the veins with another, fitted exactly to the veins. | Slabs that show a different body colour at any cut or drilled edge, imitating real marble all the way through |
| 2018 | Poland | UV printing on PVC panels. Start-up and commissioning of UV inkjet machines (single-pass printer and flatbed plotter); later service and staff training. Process know-how on substrate-specific effects such as static electricity; panels lacquered and UV-cured downstream. | Machine started up and a completely new product launched on the market; operators trained |
| Earlier | Poland | UV printing on glass. Commissioning, printhead calibration and repair of a UV inkjet glass printer, including the UV curing stage; full machine support and process know-how. | Printer commissioned; ongoing full service support |
How we work
We adapt to your model: straight to the installation site, or first through a full onboarding at your factory.
- Smaller projects: one engineer, working independently.
- Larger projects: team size is agreed per project; additional mechanics and electricians can be engaged on request.
- New platforms: we complete your product training first, then work to your procedures and documentation standards.
- Safety and site rules: we follow the client’s HSE and customer-specific requirements.
- Handover: test records, clear procedures and operator training, so the line runs without us.
- After start-up: remote support and return visits, on request.
- Availability: on-site assignments worldwide, short or long term, up to 9 months per year.
